It is known that Bollywood’s recently released film Tanu weds Manu is being remade in Tollywood soon. Earlier there was a buzz that Sunil has been considered for the lead role but the latest reports say Sairam Shankar, Puri Jagannadh’s brother is reprising the role of Madhavan while the Punjabi kudi Charmi is roped in to play Kangana Ranaut’s role.
A debutant director Gopi, who has earlier worked under Puri Jagannadh will direct this romantic comedy entertainer. Dil Raju and Nallamalapu Bujji will jointly produce the film. Other details are awaited from the film-makers.
Both Sairam Shankar and Charmi are struggling to score a hit from long time in Tollywood, and this could be a bumper offer for both the actors.
